Got a call from someone who needs help for a baby squirrel near Pittsburgh, Pa. Is anyone near hy who can help?

They said the baby is four weeks and has aspirating pneumonia.

The person got Bacterium, how much per dose? And, most important, how often? Thank you.

We would need a weight on the squirrel in grams,
AND the strength (mg) of the Bacterium(?) Is this suppose to be Bactrim?
This is not the drug of choice, and if she can get Baytril (animal ab.) or Cipro (Human ab.)
OR Clavamox (Animal) or Augmentin (Human) those are the most effective drugs for aspiration pneumonia)

Yes, I meant bactrim, spell check picked wrong spelling. Anyway, I let her know. I think she requested to join this board. I told her she could mention me. She got my number from a mutual friend and lives in my area. We talked on phone, she is for sure cool. I seriously don't give the squirrel board info to just anyone.

Just wanted to relay this little baby passed away this morning around 8am. She said he was fine at 7am, but by 8, he just gave up. At least he was in loving hands that were trying to help. Thank you for caring. We do our best and that's all we can do. Hugs!!
