Does this involve gagging perhaps also?

No gagging. He just making a strange sounds that sound like a hack or a cough like perhaps throat irritation. My concern is a infection but I have no experience with squirrels .

Hang in there; a squirrel rehabber should be available on Saturday morning to offer advice.

It’s not as Repetitive like that no . Off and on but in a more muffed tone it’s a similar sound to that

Are you thinking it’s just a normal sound he’s developing? That would be a relief

Can you get a video of him doing this and post it here; it's the best way to confirm it is normal or not.

Of course he’s not doing it now ! Like kids and animals do ... I’m sorry I guess I’m over reacting. He’s so small I panic because it can so south so fast with little ones . I’ll try to catch it if he starts again but i apologize for the alarm . I love him so much I worry ...

Does he eat any sort of block? Is he eating vegetables yet?

I read your last post, so I think he's doing just fine.

Yes he eats Henry’s rodent block twice a day plus veggie . Pea pods are his favorite . He refuses to eat fruit so far . I give him a half a nut a day . I know it says to only feed him formula once a day at this stage but he really want it still twice a day so I let him unless it’s not good for him

Don't be sorry - Panic is a squirrel mom's middle name! You are right to be this way because as you note, something as small as a squirrel can go south so very fast.

Feed him formula for as long as he’ll take it. Two times a day is fine. It’s your best insurance against MBD. No need to apologize....you’re just being a loving momma. :Love_Icon

Never apologize for loving and worrying about your squirrel. It is what makes you a good squammy.:grin2
