Hi folks. I'm back to ask about Twitch's itch's again :grin2. The Tums calcium overdose did the trick for his weakness and imbalance but it didn't help his itchiness. I'm giving him some coconut oil every night but to no avail. The poor guy is so itchy that he'll sometimes fall over while he's gnawing at himself and keep on gnawing and scratching while he's on his side. He has no scabs or dandruff, no bare spots and his fur is beautiful and shiny.
I'm only feeding him rodent block now with a small piece of nut at night and a tiny piece of fruit.
Is it possible that I need to keep dosing him with the Tums formula for a while longer? It's cold and dry here now but he was scratching all summer too. Any help would be appreciated.

It has only been 12 days if you started treatment on the 6th, the protocol for MBD suggests 8 weeks of treatment to complete.
Visual improvement can be expected in a short amount of time but it will take weeks to internally strengthen the bones and
replenish the loss of calcium that created the condition of Metabolic Bone Disease.

Her itching could be the result of improper diet, could be the mbd, and possibly could be an unseen parasite. You could safely
treat her with Revolution and rule any suspected parasite out.

With using Revolution on a squirrel you would only put 1-2 small drops between the shoulders,
do not use/empty the whole pipette as one would for dog or cat.
