My daughter and neighbor came across a female squirrel that didn't look right. She has a back injury of some sort. She did try to run from me but I was able to get a towel over her to scoop her up so her back legs are sort of working but she's not moving beyond the initial run. She is currently warm and in a tote in my home. I have rehabbed squirrels but none with an injury like this. She is right at 390 grams. I did get my hands on some prednisone, 2.5 mg tablets, other meds/pain meds on hand are as follows:
Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg DR tablets - I believe these to be an anti inflammatory drug
Ibuprofen 600 mg tablets
Tramadol HCL 50 mg tablets
Amoxicillin 500 mg
I don't know if all of the above are safe or helpful, she doesn't appear to have any open wounds or anything like that.

I can dose the Prednisone and the Tramadol.
Tramadol is the only pain med that can be given with Pred.
This will take me a few minutes to write up, and then I will
send it in a pm.
Thank you for helping this little one.
Edit: Dosing sent.

Updating this post.
I've gotten this little one into a wildlife rehab center to be treated. If she pulls through they'll release her back to me to release back into her home territory. Thank you once again Nancy for your help with med dosing, I felt it was best to get her into more capable hands than my own for this kind of injury
