Can't say 100% but I think rat. :dono
Ears and posture don't look right for squirrel.
Take a few more pictures and a picture of feet and nails...

In my yard, there were 6 of them but only he lived!

I will say, I had a pet rat named Sam when I was a kid...and he was awesome.
