Question about my little guy

Hi there!
It seems like tiny little ants have moved into my little squirrel’s house and decided to share food with him. I have tried cleaning them out but they just seem to come back. Will they hurt my squirrel? Is there someone can do to keep them out? Thanks!

Yes. They can sting the squirrel.

You can repel them with a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar.
Clean them out of the house, then cover the area around the house with the vinegar.
This will keep any ant scouts from laying down chemical trails (which the others follow).. so they cannot find a path to the nest.
Don't spray any of it inside the nest, or too close to it, so it does not bother the squirrel.
