Found a young male squirrel. Extremely skinny and appears to only "lick" at food. Does not "chew" that I can tell. Semi-friendly, and hangs around same area. Appears to be urinating on his own (peed on my outdoor carpet) but does not chew seeds I put out for other squirrels. Other squirrels that chase each other off do not seem to approach this little guy. Gut feeling is he is an outcast. No idea how old he is, but I think young. No apparent wounds, can climb, run, jump, etc., drinks water from birdbath (clean water), and only appears to be able to eat natural peanut butter on a spoon. Acts like he is having trouble swallowing. Cannot see if there are any long teeth but appears to have teeth in front. I put a piece of frozen strawberry out and he appeared to "suck" all of the fluids until he was able to swallow the tiny piece. What can I do to help him?

He could have a malocclusion and be unable to chew. He needs to be caught and taken to a rehabber or vet to be examined. If he can't chew food he will slowly starve to death.

Can you get a picture? If he can’t chew foods then his time is limited and will require intervention on your part for him to survive. You would need to trap him to determine if it is his teeth or something else. I know others have trapped with a hav-a-hart trap, but I’m not sure how they kept the squirrels they didn’t want to trap from getting trapped. I hope someone with some experience will chime in.

In the meantime offering some soft foods like fresh avocado (no skin or pit) or banana will provide some nourishment.

To those that have replied, how do I upload a video? I clicked on the "Insert Video" button, got another screen that showed a "HOME" column. I clicked "Add File", and it showed that it uploaded it, but then the file (.mp4) does not show in the list.

He looks young to me and I don't see much of the upper teeth in the pics.
Just a thought, what about placing a bowl of warm hydration water ( 2 cups warm water, 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt) out for him. And then a bowl of warm formula( fox valley 20/50 or puppy esbilac with pro and prebiotics ) these are the only 2 healtho formulas....or the goats milk formula ( I don't know the ingredients ) (it is for temporary use)
