I was recently given a ~5 week old or so eastern grey squirrel by a friend who found her after hurricane florence and she seems to have some neuro issues of sorts (head tilt to the left, persistent clockwise turning).
She is 84 grams and otherwise eating formula fine, she has some matted hair by her ear that she is leaning towards. I have been applying tobramycin ear drops with no improvement. due to the spinning I now think it is neuro.
If anyone can give me some dosing info and instructions on Prednisone? I work at a vet so I can get any strenght just need to know dosing, also I read meloxicam may help with neuo issues as well but unsure if this is advised best treatment?
