Keep him warm and offer hydration (pedialyte or homemade pedialyte) with a 1cc syringe. Heating pad on low under half the bin.

Someone will help with dosing meds, soon.

Homemade pedialyte recipe: 2 cups warm water, 1.5 Tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Go slow so he doesn’t aspirate.

I will send dosing in a private message. You can access the private message from the top of the screen under notifications.

Edit: dosing sent.

Would you like us to find someone to rehab this baby? We have several members in Georgia. Just let us know what city you’re close to.

The baby needs to be fed POWDERED Esbilac puppy formula. The liquid is not the same. This is the only store bought formula that works. It can be purchased from Pet Supermarket, Petco and feed stores like Tractor Supply. Some Walmart’s carry it.

Doxycycline 100mg (2 years expired)

Get rid of the Doxycycline, it becomes dangerous after expiration.

I'm in Waycross and work in Nicholls. If anyone is nearby that would be wonderful. I am comfortable doing it but do not have my enclosure any longer. Our list we keep of rehabbers from the DNR does not currently have anyone listed close to us for small mammals so if you can help find someone that would be appreciated.

How close are you to Jacksonville, FL?

:hello. I can see if there is someone available in Jacksonville to take the baby. If not, would you be able to drive a little further south on I95 and meet me? I have a baby about the same age that could use a buddy. I am a little more than 4 hours south of you.

About 1.5 hours from Jacksonville. Folkston is in between. She doesn't seem to be doing that great and is not moving her back legs at all. I've got two doses of antibiotics in her but cannot get her to drink anything else at all, but I don't have a nipple.

Edited: If you can find someone in Jacksonville that would be great. Otherwise I may be able to meet you tomorrow with her. I won't be able to get there until then. If someone in Jacksonville could meet me in Folkston (halfway) that would be amazing as I could get that way tonight.

I have been in contact with Jonathan from The Ark Sanctuary and passed the finders contact info on to him.

I also advised Maddalana to try to get the baby to take some sweetened water, drop by drop if necessary, to keep her hydrated.

Jonathan hopes to get the baby tonite and is aware of her condition.

Please keep us posted.
