Hi,

I am a Rehabber and it has been a few years since i have gotten a squirrel. We usually deal with fawns but GW brought us a baby squirrel today.

It is not a pinkie but it's eyes are closed.

I know not to feed FW 32/40 but i forget which Esbilac powder to look for.

Is it the one that has new with probiotics and the white pup on the front. Or is it the white pup on the front without the new with probiotics at the top?

It’s the one with prebiotics and probiotics recommended on here. Yes white pup. I’m not sure how to link to the thread but if you look in the nutrition section it’s in there with a picture.

Perfect. Thanks so much. I have to order this because I live in a very rural area with limited pet supplies :( The one I ordered on Amazon had this blue banner at the top. Hopefully that is what I get.

I just got possession of the squirrel. She weighs 67 grams and eyes are closed. so I am thinking 2 weeks close to 3 weeks????

Have i calculated this correctly at 5%? about 3 1/4 cc every 4 hours???

Also, what is the thoughts on FW 20/50? add this with the Esbilac? Or just do Esbilac with HWC?

I use esbilac until 3 to 4 weeks and then I use half esbilac and half fv 20/50

Then things are still the same as what I used before when I had squirrels. That is what I did as well.

Right now I am using the GM/Yogurt/HWC until my supplies get here from Amazon and Henry's

I did 67 x .05 = 3.35 ml

Yes to every 3.5-4 hours and remember to hydrate fully before offering that first feeding. Esbilac without HWC seems to be working. Some babies are having tummy issues with the HWC added.
