Baby Eastern Grey, when her eyes opened one was white. It is also a little bulgy compared to the normal eye. I treated it for awhile with NeoPolyBac ointment. Nutrition isn't a factor. I got her when she was about a week old and other than dehydration (treated with sub-q fluids) she was in good shape.
I am going to take her to an eye specialist, but was wondering if any of you have had this issue and how it turned out.
She can't see out of it.
5 years ago I had a Fox baby with an injured eye that turned white and it cleared up after awhile but she ended up blind in that eye (and is a member of our family).
Anyway, just hoping for some input! Thanks

Last year I had one little boy with a white circle inside the black pupil of his eye. I watched it carefully, it didn't change for weeks. It did not seem to bother him or impair his sight as far as I could tell. Then one day I couldn't "find" him amongst his siblings because everyone had two good eyes. Whatever it was, he was at least 12 weeks old before the whiteness went away. He developed normally in every other way and was released. Give yours a little time and see.

I do have an appt with an eye specialist on November 13th. Unless they have a cancellation that was the first one available. Maybe there will be changes by then. I can hope! She acts like a blind squirrel though, weaving her head around.
