I have an approximately 3 week old baby grey squirrel that the cat brought up this afternoon. No visible injuries but everything I've read has stressed how important antibiotics are for babies that have been picked up by cats and I've already had her for about 8 hours so I'm worried about that time window. I'm keeping her warm and giving pedialyte but I really want to get her to a rehabber ASAP so she can get antibiotics and qualified care. I've called several people from the Georgia DNR's list of rehabbers as well as some individuals/groups found through google but haven't heard back from anyone able to help. I'm in the Gainesville/Hall County area but I can drive her up to about an hour if needed- honestly my priority is just getting her to someone. Thanks so much.

I sent you a Private Message with my telephone number.
If the little one has no signs of injuries, is not lethargic or showing other signs of infection that is all good. The Pedialyte is good as well. Is her energy level good as well?
If you want to bring her tonight, I am okay with that or in the morning.. she should be okay until then if you can continue the pedialyte.
Edit: The morning should be okay if her energy level is good and there are no other signs of distress.
