3 week old baby weak and not wanting to eat

I have a 3 week old baby who is super weak and is now not wanting to eat or stand. Help!!!!

How long have you had it? They do not really stand at three weeks. Have you given hydration to the baby?

Yes I’ve rehydrated him and have started giving formula. I’ve had him about a week or so. He has two bottom teeth so I figured he was about 3 wks. He is about the 4th one I’ve raised and I can’t remember any of the others being this weak

I don’t think he is going to make it. He can barely hold his head up or anything. And is barely breathing. He won’t take pedialyte or formula 😢😫

Do you have any antibiotics?

Hold him right up to your ear. Do you hear any clicking, wheezing or popping sounds on his inhale and exhale? Aspiration pneumonia often presents as lethargy and lack of appetite. If he has aspirated formula, he needs antibiotics immediately.

If he has bottom teeth then he may be older. Are his eyes open? They open at 35 days. Any other symptoms? How much does he weigh? What kind of formula is he eating? Try to hydrate with homemade hydration solution. Was he eating, peeing and pooping regular?
