My city is full & wont take him, I mean they would pick him up & kill him! He’s in my garage, the door is open but he’s sick so he won’t leave. He’s timid, friendly eating & drinking but he’s limping & obviously has a tummy issiur. Also I think I found a parasitic worm in his feces?!?! Anyway please tell!

I don't have experience with raccoons but someone should be able to help shortly. Please be EXTRA careful because they are rabies vector species and if you get bit, it means shots for you and the raccoon will be euthanized for testing.

Give it dry food. No meat or cheeze. Grain formula like cat or dog food.

Hello, Sorry to hear about the raccoon. Dry purina dog food would be good for it to eat. 100% canned pumpkin will help with the diarrhea. To combat the dehydration I'm positive is happening try giving him chicken broth diluted to keep him drinking. Puppy wormer like Nemex 2 or any brand of Pyrantel Pomoate can be used to worm him. Please use gloves that he can't bite through. This could be a myriad of diseases like Parvo, distemper or rabies. So please be careful around your domestics too. Hope this helps.

There’s a wildlife rescue place called Procyon wildlife. They’re in New tecomseth. (905)729-0033. I know they do raccoons there.
