No poop help please

I need help pls. I got this baby Friday and he seems to be about 6 weeks old. He was attack by a cat and is on clavamox 1 drop. The emergency is he has not went pooped since I got him. He doesn’t pee a lot either but the no pooping is scaring me. I have tried the mineral oil, I have did hot baths and massages, I have did everything I can find online. Pls help someone

Hi there and welcome. Please stick to one thread so we don't lose you.

Did you hydrate baby before you fed him formula? What formula are you feeding? Never reheat formula and reuse.

Antibiotics require even more hydration so baby should be getting proper amount of formula (based on his weight in grams) every few hours AND additional water in between if he isn't pooping.

You have to get him hydrated. Not pooping can be helped with hydration, not peeing is a true sign of dehydration.

Antibiotics are not dosed by drops but by a formula involving the wt of baby, strength of medicine and dosage of that med for the particular animal. Can you give us the weight of your baby and the strength of the clavamox you have? We will tell you how much med to give your guy.

Could you post a picture of your baby so we can help even more. We can tell a lot from a picture. Like Cava said, he needs enough food and water to be able to poop. Every morning he needs to be weighed on a gram scale to know how much he needs to eat. He needs between 5-7% of his wt in grams. If you need help figuring that out let us know and we will help you. What formula do you have him on?
