I have Keflex antibiotics and I was wondering the proper dosage I could use to treat the baby squirrel. They are 500mg capsules for dogs. The baby squirrel weighs 31 grams. I also have read I need to get pro biotics after feeding the medicine. Please help Thanks!

Keflex is not a drug that is effective for Aspiration Pneumonia (AP). Can you get some Baytril (vet med) or a human Cipro tablet? Or Clavamox (vet med) or Augmentin (human)? Call around and ask all your family and friends, you'll need only 1 tablet. Cipro is very commonly used for UTI's... if you find (or have) any other antibiotics, tell us what that might be and someone will let you know if it is effective for AP and get it dosed for you!

Are you anywhere near Louisville? I have access to vets and antibiotics there.
