I just received a call for a pinkie baby squirrel that is coming to me tonight. My problem is all I have on hand is Fox Valley 20/50.. I placed an order for my other formula last week and it hasn't come in yet. Can I still use this on a 1-2 week old squirrel if it is diluted after he is hydrated?

I wouldn't chance it at that age, Kiko. You can hydrate him tonight and maybe get some Esbilac tomorrow morning?

Any supermarket or Walmart should have Esbilac Puppy with probiotics. Get it tonight, mix it up, and by the very early morning it will be ready. Warm, hydrate with Pedialyte if necessary before feeding. Do you have any Miracle Nipples?

Can I use this? I got it at walmart and only used it once in a emergency situation but not on a pinky.

No, it will result in diarrhea.

Yes I have miracle nipples. He was very dehydrated and cold, warmed him up and gave him Pedialyte. He's doing good so far. Walmart only has the generic brand I posted :(

You can use this in a pinch, temporarily, but one of the things with pinkies is changing formula several times is very hard on them.... I'd leave out the cream out if the Esbilac is coming soon. Tractor Supply usually has Esbilac, some WalMarts.. and Pet Smarts I think usually have it.

TEMPORARY GOAT'S MILK FORMULA:

3 parts goat’s milk
1 part heavy whipping cream*
1 part vanilla yogurt

Formula will last 48 hours in refrigerator.

PetCo always has it around here, and so do Petland Discount stores and some PetSmarts. :great
