I don’t know of anyone that has ever mentioned ear wax in squirrels.
Maybe you could give us more details so that we have a better idea what’s going on.

I would be more inclined to think there is some kind of infection in the squirrel's ears, or a fungus. Can you post a pic?

I have cleaned Joeys (a dwarf) ears of what I assumed was ear wax. It was little specks of black that comes right out with a q tip. There was never an abundance of it, but it does seem to reoccur over a period of time. I never considered that it could be something else, like mite residue, but I guess that’s possible. He does get time to play in the flower beds outside occasionally.

My squirrel with paralyzed two legs from MBD , he just can't clean ears himself thats why he got wax in the ears. I never knew it can be like this but my little started shake head i though it was infection but some time later good man told me about ears and now im intrested in how to clean all wax .

As I said, I used a q-tip and gently cleaned inside the folds in his ears.

I would go to the local pet stores and see if they have something to remove ear wax and clean the ears of kittens. That would be mild enough for a little squirrel.

You are absolutely correct, by the way. Paralyzed squirrels should have their ears cleaned regularly to avoid infections. Non paralyzed squirrels clean their ears with their hind feet, using the nails, ALL THE TIME.
