Could very well be. Gestation for squirrels is about 40 days, and "second season pinkies" seem to arrive in the mid-Atlantic between July 15-Aug 15. May 27 plus 40 days brings us to the first week in July, so.....yeah :grin3

That might be why Lincoln is so full of himself today then. The goof has been running around trying to fight shadows and acting like an acrobat. He also bit my husbands hand. Drew blood. Lol told the hubby he needs to stay clear Lincoln for a lil bit if it is mating season.

I'd say the season is on, yeah. :grin2 My guys out there are are so restless and the boys are chasing each other across the whole acre of forest back there.
