Hopefully someone can help my eastern grey squirrel about 7 weeks old she’s making a clicking noise I have smz the pill forum though all I could get it says ip 271 and help would be greatly appreciated

I am going to start a new thread for you in the Emergency Section....this is a very old thread. Also, we will need a weight on your squirrel in grams in order to figure out the dose.

She is appearing to be around 93 grams or 3 1/4 ounces

I’d like to thank all of you she is doing better but still fighting but she has a appetite again she has had a breathing problem since I got her and had me worried from the beginning

Great update.
IF you can find Cipro (Human antibiotic) or Baytril (animal ab.)
Clavamox, (Animal) or Augmentin (Human)
those would be the drug of chose for aspiration pnemonia.
SMZ-TMP is a slower acting antibiotic than the above.

Unfortunately I can’t get anything it took a hundred calls and a bunch of good hearted people to this smz every vet shot me down all the rehabbers either couldn’t help or wouldn’t answer my calls
