Warm dark quiet to start.
Heating pad UNDER the container set on low.
Put in lots of fleece or anything without loops so he can't get his
nails stuck.
After you look at this, let us help you if you have questions, which
you probably will.
Is this little one fully fured? Can you post a picture.
Go read the link now, and then come back.

Thank you I am reading everything now!
I will come back in a bit when I am done.
The baby is about half grown. I have her in a carrier with a warm blanket and I rubbed her gums with some kero. I will come back soon.

That baby is still too young to be on its own. It should probably still be on formula from the looks of it. You can tell by looking at its tail. If you can get esbilac from the pet store you can give her that and if not you can put her on the goats milk formula as a temporary formula. Before feeding formula make sure she’s been warmed and then hydrated. Looks to me she’s about 5/6 weeks old.
This should help you in aging her: http://www.arcforwildlife.com/squirrels.htm
Esbilac (make sure it is this one and not a liquid or a different powder.)

ok is there a formula I can make at home that will be good for her? I do not have access to pet formula or goats milk. We dont even have a pet shop were I live.
I have some basic things to make a kitten formula that we use for ca rescues..would that work?
This baby should still be eating formula, but you can offer a rodent block as well.
Get a 3 ml syringe and nipple (you can put the pet ag nipples that come with a bottle from the pet store onto a syringe) and get her hydrated before offering a diluted mix of Esbilac POWDERED Puppy formula with pre and probiotics (also at the pet store.) She should be pottying on her own at this point.
Hydration steps are spelled out in the links you read. She can't properly digest if she is dehydrated so it's a MUST. After 6-12 hours you want to introduce formula. Once mixed (two parts water, one part powder) dilute that by giving 25% formula/75%water for a few feedings, then 50/50, then 75/25 up to full strength. Each step for a couple of feedings. The point is to watch the belly for constipation and making sure things are moving and she's passing stool.
You may offer blocks and a hanging water bottle or shallow dish of water with rocks in it but she would still be nursing on mom.
You also need a gram scale (walmart, bed bath beyond under 10 dollars) to weigh her. It determines how much she gets per feeding. Under or over feeding will cause problems.
It's a heck of a lot to take in, I know. Hang in there.
Would you rather we help find a rehabber for you to give this baby to?

Here the link about the goats milk formula:
https://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?29904-TEMPORARY-Goat-s-Milk-Formula***
You can usually get goats milk from the grocery store. Sometimes it’s a concentrate or a powder that you have to mix. Do you have a Walmart near you? That’s where I usually get mine.

Kitten formula is for carnivores and will not work. It would be like putting a baby on the atkins diet and she will waste away. We've seen squirrels die from kitten formula.
Goat's milk formula is as follows and the ingredients can be found at most grocery stores until you can get a commercial formula:
3 parts goat's milk (powdered or condensed must be made into regular milk before using)
1 part full fat vanilla yogurt
1 part heavy whipping cream (not half and half)
If you feed cows milk, you will make her sick.

No kitten formula won’t work. Can you get goats milk from the grocery store (refrigerated section) or canned goats milk with the powdered milks? The canned (whether powdered or canned concentrate) must be mixed with water per instructions on the can. Then you tak 3 parts of the mixed goats milk, add one part heavy whipping cream (grocery store refrigerated sections and one part full fat vanilla yogurt. This is the temporary goats milk formula.
im Not sure why mom would have left it. Could it have fallen out of a nest overhead? It could be that something has happened to mom and it is seeking help. It definitely needs formula. It is much too young to be on its own.
Cava types faster.

To be honest I would appreciate a rehaber if there is one near me. I have a kitty with kidney disease I am caring for and 5 other cats right now. I have done a lot of cat rescue work and bottle raising but never anything like this. I have congestive heart failure myself so its a bit tough. I dont have a cage for this baby or money to get a bunch of new stuff. My kitty with kidney disease has cost a lot and he has to come first. I want to say yes I wil care for this squirell but i am not sure I even can right now.

Where in Oregon are you located?
She will be with you for months before release.
She will need different sized cages, AND an outdoor release cage.
There's a lot to take in as cava said, but we will guide you through it,
if we can't find a rehabber for you. Would you like us to try?
This is NOT a cheap venture, just want to warn you up front.
Edit: OK I see that you would like us to find a rehabber.
What city do you live in?
Thank you so much for helping this little one.
Look for others too. They typically come down after they
lose their moms because mom would NEVER allow him out
of the nest at this age.

I think she fell out of the tree near were I found her. We have big trees and lots of squirells here.
I am in Pendleton Oregon. If she can get to a rehaber that would be really good. I am just not able to afford everything she will need...but i will do everything i can for her in the meantime.
She is adorable..we named her Chip.

Cute name. Remember keep her away from the cat.
Cat saliva is deadly to squirrels.
Do you have a syringe so that you can hydrate her?
Remember if you give her anything by mouth she needs to be
in an upright position, and point the syringe toward the roof of her mouth.
Let me see if I can find a picture of how to feed.
OK not the best picture, (he's just being a show off :)) but feed them in an upright position like this.
OR put him on his tummy so he's laying flat and feed that way again, with the
syringe pointing to the roof of his mouth.

OK get some warm water and add just a touch of honey in it for flavor
and offer that to him. He may not be used to the syringe so you just have
to work with him for a while. Go slow, I know you must know that.

I just tried to give her some water to hydrate her and she is feeling very spunky now..LOL She is trying to climb all over me and making little noises. I really do not want to get bit by her for sure.

Do you have any tractor supply stores around?
Many of them carry the powdered puppy esbilac,
perhaps you can call around.

Is she using her front legs when she moves around? In both photos it looks like she's using the rear but has the arms tucked under...

oh yes she uses her front legs also she climbs very well..lol
She's probably scared. You can add more fleece for her to burrow into.

If you try to reunite, make sure that you stay where you can see her, yet not too close so mom doesn't come down.

Here's a video of a baby squirrel calling for their mom.
If you can record the audio part and place the squirrel outside
near the tree, then play the squirrel calling.
This has worked for others members, so maybe it will work
for you as well.

I watched the baby for a long time and her mother did come to her and was with her for a while, when i checked on them later they were both gone. So i think mom took her back to the nest. I looked all around in case she was on the ground but she was not around anywere.
