Pet store grass

Can I buy the grass and hay products in pet stores for my squirrel.? Alfalfa ect. It looks like they are sold for pet hamsters and rabbits.

No, we don't buy hay and grass for squirrels. Squirrels don't eat hay and grasses. They don't have a digestive tract that will handle hay. Rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, etc have a completely different type of digestion.

Actually I wouldn't even use hay for bedding because it will mold if it gets wet.
