I do not have possession of this squirrel.
The woman wants to raise and release it herself.
Female, 5 weeks old, 105 grams.
Eating 7ml every 3 hours.
No sign of poop in over 24 hours.
Acts hungry and wants food every 2 1/2 hours.
Is eating a 50/50 mix of Esbilac/FV 20/50.
Gets angry and struggles when stimulated (versus sleepy) and does not pee or poop.
When returned to bed immediately pees a giant puddle, but no poop.
Belly shrinks by next feeding.. but no poop.
Only sign today was a little BROWN diarrhea with some MUCUS.
Last feeding the stomach did not feel like a water balloon.. stiffer than usual.
Should this squirrel be treated as a potential bloat?
I am about to recommend water only, doses of Mylicon, and warm water tummy massages overnight.
