The last few days I noticed my flyer making a gagging motion. It looks like he wants to vomit but I know they don't vomit. It doesn't last that long then he is fine. It seems like everything is normal with him except for that happening. I watched him eat and he seems to not have any problems swallowing. Any ideas on what may be causing him to do this?
Thank you.

Is there anything in particular he's been eating when this occurs?

First, I would check the teeth.
Also, anything new as far as mealworms, etc? Are you feeding Superworms?

Not that I know of. Over the last few days when I noticed him doing this I fed him some orange, peas, pecan, almond and hazelnut. I also give him Henry's High Protein Blocks. I sprinkle his fruit and veggies with Calcium plus vitamin D3 powder. He has been eating this food for a long time.
My husband checked his teeth last night and they look fine.

I feed him mealworms but he hasn't had any for a few weeks.
