I know y'all are tired of my posts lol Rose eats 1 HHB a day. I'm looking at supplements since she won't eat any other block. Here are the stats I could find on them. How often can I give them to her, if at all? I intend to dust with calcium to bring the ratio up. Thanks again!

Hi Scrappy,

The problem with alll those creepy crawlers is that the calcium/phosphorous ratio is way off. Every once in a while I give my 7 year old squirrel, Buffy, a few mealworms as a treat, but I would not give as a regular part of their diet:hug

I didn't realize that until I started looking at the calcium/ph ratios of different foods! I'm working on a balance for her now. I was thinking if I dusted the calciworms with calcium it would equal out the ratio, but I wasn't sure if that was too much calcium/ph for her in one day/week. Perhaps 1/2 to 1 a week to bump up her calcium? They are also a good source of amino acids. I was giving her a couple of meal worms a day so I quit doing that! What do you feed your girl? Is she a grey? Thank you for your help!
