Hello Squirrelboard,
the squirrel I'm taking care of has started munching on it's tail in the last few days. Initially I thought that this was momentary, but it has kept up and is getting out of control. It has started chewing away at it fiercely enough that it is getting hacked off. Now, this squirrel is using Prednisone and has gotten a Revolution (selamectin) treatment (started yesterday, since it has mange and mites).
I tried wrapping it's tail in thick fabric to stop it from doing so, but it finds a way to take it off.
I would really like a solution to this, before it eats the whole thing off.
Thank you for your time.
