Just got these in last night; so far 3/5 like them! If nothing else, I can use them for recipes. There are no storage directions on the bag. Just room temp, fridge or freeze? And what about storage of leftover pieces for boo balls etc.?

I keep mine in the fridge, in a big bag on the bottom shelf. However, if you have a cool room in your house or apartment I would keep them in a tightly sealed container (like those big plastic cat food or cat litter containers). You have to treat rodent block the same way you would bird seed -- those stupid moths will get into it if there is one little tiny space for them to enter and then you've got yourself flailing at the moths in your house for the next three years. :shakehead :grin2

I just recently got a bag as well. I put mine in a gallon ziplock and into the freezer because I figured they would stay fresh the longest this way. Is it better to just refrigerate? :dono

I keep mine a gallon zip lock bag in a cabinet. I go through them pretty fast though, with four squees.

As for boo balls. I always keep them in the fridge until serving and toss those after one week. They get new ones in cage twice a day and the old ones thrown out. I use baby food in mine so I worry about them going "off" if not consumed that day.

Perfect, thanks! Don’t need any more bugs here ; having our seasonal ladybug/Asian beetle (whatever they’re called) Red Plague. Window sills covered . Wish the squirrels could eat these!

We get them by the 33lbs bag here - because of our 5 NRs. I store 1/2 of them in a metal garbage can with sealed lid in the garage, and the other half in the freezer in the extra-large Ziploc bags. We use the ones from the garbage can 1st.

We also make them boo-balls with the blocks and we keep the boo-balls in the freezer. I usually lay the dough into a flat loaf about 5"x10"x3/4" thick and place in the freezer for about 1.5 hr then I slice them into wafers of approximately 1/4" thick x 1" x 1.5" and put them in a Ziploc in the freezer. My guys love them straight out of the freezer. Heck! Every night before I go to bed, as soon as they hear me opening the freezer - and I mean from waayyy across the house, BOOM! They're up and pacing like lions in cages, waiting for them and their blocks.
