Seeking help for release in Spring.
I have a 7 month(ish) male. He’s been with us since he was around 3 weeks old. With the help of this board I managed to keep him alive and happy the first 5 month(ish) of his life. My life became extremely hectic with school and I turned care over to my husband and son. This has been going great. He is affectionate with them both. Although he will growl if someone he doesn’t like comes in the room. I have limited my time with him and I do not let other family members play with him. He gets of his cage daily and aside from the cookies he steals he has had a strict diet.
I’m in CNY and knew from the get go he would be over wintered. I feel he needs more time and room to play but he’s stuck with what we can do for now. I can’t/won’t release him in our yard. Too many kids/cats and cars.
I need someone who knows what they are doing to release him when the time comes, or now that he isn’t a 24-hour commitment take him sooner. We love him, but the plan was always to release him.
Can any one give me any advice on who to contact?

Hi -- I'm guessing CNY means Central NY? I'm down in NYC but we may have some folks closer to you -- can you be a tiny bit more specific? :grin3

Sorry... I'm in Central NY. Ilion. It's about 1 1/2 hours from Albany. 20 minutes from Utica.

I'm sitting here puzzled about a squirrel and me releasing him, then it dawned on me, not Kim Cassidy, but another Kim LOL :D :D

I'm so glad you found someone.
