Are Thomas Jefferson Purple climbing Beans toxic to Squirrels?

Web search says that the older beans and dried pods are toxic for humans. I would assume so for squirrels. Did your squirrel eat some?

She took a bite of one but I took it away as soon as I could get it. So far she seems ok.

I think if I were you that is one plant I would pull up and replace with a safer vine...
