Vets and shots?

When do i take my squirrel to the vet? Does he need a regular check up like my dogs?Do captive squirrels require routine shots like my other animals? No signs of any ailments but if he is gona be here i just needed to know if and when i should take him and what to expect

Earl, squirrels don't need to go to the vet unless there is a problem. Actually, most people that own squirrels don't have a vet at all. In FL we are pretty lucky because there are vets here that will see them. There are no shots that are needed. If you have a problem we could recommend a vet in your area.

Keep in mind that MOST vets, even in FL, will not treat wildlife.
