Need to catch baby squirrels.

My cat chased a baby squirrel up a tree and one in the wood pile. He killed 1 and its tiny only has bottom teeth..so i need advice on how to trap or catch them..its getting really cold on Wednesday..im worried they wont make it ..any advice would be appreciated...ive raised and released babies b4 so im good with that part..

I dont know...i live in the woods..
Imean woods ,WOODS.. i heard them calling for her , she could have got them , they are surrounded by trees. Poor babies..i was kinda wonering if i vould sneak them in another nest..they r everywhere here..but not sure.

If they are still crying out like that and mama is no where to be found, chances are something happened to her. Young baby squirrels usually don't wonder out of the nest like that. First of all, keep the cat inside or somewhere away from the baby squirrels. No, I would not put them in another nest - that could be very dangerous for them. If mama truly is gone, they will be very hungry and most likely come looking for help. Hopefully you will be able to catch them if that is the case.

I think I'd park my butt in a chair very close to the tree you saw them around yesterday. If they were hungry yesterday they will come down again today and probably be very willing to come to you by this morning, or afternoon. Be patient. Take a good book...

Well i made a trap to catch these babies been watching the tree and wood all day..not even a peep..could the be dead ?? I put peanut butter on the trap ..but nothing..is there something they might like better.
