Worried about the future

Hi. I have two babies as some of you know. They will be ready for release in a about another month or so. I'll be here for a while after that but at the beginning of the year, we plan on moving. Has anyone had to move and leave their babies in the trees? Is there anyway that I can catch them and take them with me? I just hate to think that I can't have them in my yard again. Should I just come back and make sure they have what they need daily? Just worked about the future.

Well, many people north of you have to keep their babies through the winter and release the following spring. If you want the experience of having them in your yard and around you - and the new place is a good place to live for squirrels, you could do the same - overwinter and release only once - at the new place.

Bu only if you are moving relatively close and you certainly don't want to release them someplace they don't naturally live.
