Hey everyone,
Imp had been having all kinds if old man troubles. He also seems to have an infection in both ears. When I look in with the otoscope there is often white goopy stuff (pus?). I can often clear it but he does not like the procedure...
My understanding is antibiotics don't help much with ear infections, and in these situations a human physician would insert tubes. This I can not do, obviously. I assume the puss is building up and the pressure of the scope is rupturing the eardrum every time I look in, allowing built up fluid to drain. I have also been using swimmers drops to try and help dry it out and kill any bacteria.
Does anyone have experience with This? I don't know if ear infections can be fatal but they are certainly painful...
