I'm sure I know the answer to this, but my brain isn't working. 7 to 8 week old little girl I have had for several days. Never a great appetite, but getting worse and now she has odd, fast, shallow breathing. I have most ABs but can't decide which would be best. Thoughts?

UGH is this a coin toss?
Is it only her breathing or does she have congestion, or nasal discharge?
Doxy, Clavamox?
Does she appear sore anywhere? Do you have a history?
Wondering if she took a bad fall.

Not to minimize but if she did take a fall could it just be reaction from pain?

SMZ is slow acting think I'd go with clavamox, could always stack later if needed.
Not knowing what your really dealing with clava might cover more ground then smz,
at least faster. :dono

Great minds think alike! Clavamox it is! Also gave metacam...i think she needs prayers more than anything. I am very worried about her tonight...:sad
She's probably 8 weeks old and only weighs 135g...

I don't know if she's able to stay hydrated Gayle but if she's not taking much and sliding backward I'd subQ.
Considering the lungs are 90% water and internal dehydration could possibly be part of the problem it couldn't hurt.
I will pray for this baby....
Prayers for your little ones quick recovery from Ruby and me...💖
