Not the greatest picture but the lump has been growing and theres a reddish circle on it. What could it be? Initially though it might be pregnant but not sure

That lump located in the center? Looks like a bot to me. It looks awful but it is generally harmless and will heal up and disappear once the Fly larva exists the host (chipmunk).
He seems to trust you, you are lucky to have such a little friend!:clap:dance

Oh phew! I was hoping it was nothing too bad. Looks awful. Thanks for the help! I think its a boy and he recently had a baby! He runs over to me every day for some almonds. I just love him and would hate to lose him!

I just can't tell! I thought it was a boy until I saw the baby! Now I'm just not sure!

Not usually. In fact once the disgusting things leave, they normally heal up insanely fast.
