Please provide some details...
What kind of formula is he on?
What ab's are you giving and how did you dose them.
I will tell you dosing ab's in milk is unheard of.
How did you determine he had pneumonia?

He’s on Fox Valley.
i’m giving him baytril. about .4cc every 12 hours.
i mix it with his formula so he takes it, should i not be mixing it?? and he was making a clicking sound, which he isn’t making now.

Baytril is the preferred med for pneumonia.
Are you dosing according to body weight? All meds are dosed and administered by their body weight.
Can I assume the Baytril is already in liquid form?

Who dosed this for you?
If you are giving a strength of 22.7mg/ml
and you're dosing him .4 cc's twice daily, you are dosing him
double the amount that a 1000 gram squirrel would get!
Never give any meds with their formula. You need to make
sure he's getting all the medicine. Sometimes they don't finish their formula
and you have no idea how much meds. he actually consumed.

yes it's a liquid and I mixed it in like 2cc's to make sure he took it all.. and so i should just give it to him not mixed into anything?
and how much should i be giving him then??

What is the strength of this?
This isn't injectable Baytril is it?
Can you take a picture of the bottle that gives the strength?

I'm not 100% sure I'm reading this right but does it say 1 tablet with 11 cc's pet tinic?
What does your little one weigh? Is it 100 grams?
If so we dose differently though this is still correct.
But we dose half the after the initial loading dose.
She made the strength/solution lower so that you would need to dose more volume. :thumbsup

You are dosing correct.
Your vet just added MORE suspension, so you are giving more
volume, but the correct amount of antibiotic.
Typically the .4 would be the loading dose and then
all others cut in half and dosed twice daily at .2
Your vet is dosing more, but I still think it's ok.

My little gal had blood in her urine a few times over the past couple of months. I have yet to figure out the issue, but I am assuming she injured herself in her play room although she does not seem to be injured at all. She still runs, jumps, plays, and eats like a horse. And it's not a UTI, because normally her urine is normal color and no strong odor.

By any chance has she eaten any acorns? The tanins can cause bloody looking urine. Hmmmmm--seems this has happened before (looking back to the beginning of the thread)
