Hi everyone.
So I got a call Sept 25th at 10am about a squirrel in need from being grabbed by a cat.
He was brought to me and after evaluation found no wounds and felt no broken bones and his tummy was soft.
Fast forward to today he's eating perfectly and is using the bathroom however he cannot stand or walk. He can move his legs and tail but can't stand and his front paws curl inward like when he cleans his paws... I've done the pain rest and he hates it so he can feel but can't walk. My best guess is he is about 5-6weeks old so I'm not sure if he has some kind of Neuro issue at this point. Can someone please five a newbie some advice

A cat caught needs to be on antibiotics, cats carry a bacteria in their slava that can be deadly to squirrels. You will not necessarily be able to see puncture marks from a cat as they seal over fast. You will want to watch for any abscesses that may develop. The curled paws is usually one of the signs of pain. Any chance of getting hold of any predisone? I would definitely check around to see what antibiotics you can come up with.
Can you post a picture of this baby for a better assessment...

I'm moving this into emergency and adjusting subject line for more eyes on it as it can be life threatening.

What city are you located in?
We have many members there and maybe one can help.

Stepnstone, this is what happened to Rocky. I remember we did put him on antibiotics and the calcium. He was total paralyzed, but his paw never did uncurl. I hope the best for this little one. Need to get him on antibiotics asap, I waited 3 days before I took Rocky to the vet. The sooner you do the better. He may have a better chance than my squirrel did.

This was 5 days ago and no word, I suppose we are just left to assume the worst.
