We have a 6 week old squirrel, she weighs roughly 150g. Her behavior has been rather normal and her feeding habits haven't diminished, but last night we noticed a light clicking noise. Also when she is asleep her breathing seems to be very rapid and her mouth is open. We've kept her warm and a source from Instagram said shes dehydrated so were buying pedialyte but that source is not a vet. we have a vet who is supposed to come after 4pm but i don't think should wait that long. every time we put her on the heating pad she crawls out of it looking for us. i think she wants to be held she calms down when we do.

Has she aspirated?
What formula are you feeding and what size syringe?
Are you using a nipple?
IF this is aspiraton pneumonia you will need Baytril (animal antibotic) or Cipro (Human)
Or Clavamox or Augmentin.
All you need is ONE pill and we can dose once you give us the strength/mg of the pill and
the babies exact weigh in grams. We need both to accurately dose.
