Hurricane irma just passed. I have 2 babies from neighbors tree. Both warmed and taking pedialite. I'm experienced raising squirrels, but 1 is injured. Possible broken leg, hes, not moving it at all- just limp. Any suggestions? I have no internet other than cell phone- sorry for few details. 3 week old.
Do you have a scale? Any infant ibuprofen?
If you have a weight we can get you a dose to help make him comfortable until you get local help.

I don't have a weight yet, still trying to rehydrate and stabilize. I am in Tampa Bay- eveything is closed right now b/c we got hit by Hurricane Irma last night. Have 200 mg ibuprphen tabs I can crush. I'll get a wt as soon as I get them better rehydrated.

40 grams, but still dehydrated. 0.7 ml of pedialyte at a time is all they will take. No baby ibuprophen available, just regular 200mg. They are probably 2.5-3 weeks old. (Its been about a 1-1.5 yr since I've had babies/ just took the last release boxes of the tree!)
Looks to be front leg/shoulder. Vey limp- will not move that leg. Head /nose has some blood on it, but not actively bleeding.
Thanks

No one has gotten back with me. hes doing well overall and taking formula. Will move shoulder now. I think its his wrist. Should I just wait and see how he does?

I'm sorry, I lost track of this. Can you go out and buy infant ibuprofen yet? Can you post a photo or video to youtube and link it here? Poor little guy.
Have you looked at this? https://www.henryspets.com/baby-squirrel-care/. I had to revisit it this fall remind myself of things.
I assume you've transitioned to formula? How is he doing, is he rehydrating?
Hopefully getting some pain/inflammation management on board will help. Do you have a vet you could take him to for x rays?? If so, they could prescribe meds for you also.
Last year I had a little gal, eyes closed, no fur, fall from a roof and had a broken arm (we think) and it took her a bit to rehab but she was released the following spring and could smack her brother around quite easily within a couple months of getting her.
I sent you a pm.
