Im on the east coast and my 5/6 week old baby still needs to b kept warm. What do I do when this hurricane hits?. I have some hand warmers, not many but I can't get more since its summer and I can't get into Wal-Mart. I'll have a generator but I can't run it 24/7 for her heat pad. Ideas/ advice/ words of comfort for my baby!

Put her in your shirt. As long as you're warm she'll be warm.

Also, by the time they are 5-6 wks, they are able to thermoregulate as long as they are healthy, wishing the best.
What are other peeps doing for warming formula?

Praying the Hurricane turns East and misses Florida! My adult children live in Key West and Gainesville, really worried about the one in Key West.
If you have a water bottle you can heat water on a grill. That's what I did when I lived in Florida.
Stay safe!!!
