Well it's wolf season and shy girl has about three of them, I'm used to this each year and usually they work themselves out well today I noticed this spot almost looks like pus but I left it alone and figured I would ask someone here. I had heard that it is dangerous to bother a wolf because if you squeeze it , it can release toxins that will kill the squirrel. I've had shy girl for eight years raised her from a baby and released her when she was around one and she's been hanging around ever since. I'll post a picture

They look like bot flies have exited from her side an usually the remaining site closes up fine. But this time it looks like it has gotten infected. Can you get any Clavamox/pet med or augmentin/human variety. We can dose it for you if we have the strength of med . Maybe her age is catching up with her . Very unusual to see a wild that old. She is very beautiful.
