HI I have had tootsie since she was 6 days old. She is now 6 weeks old. She is eating well pooping fine. She is going pee normally but it is so strong in the last 2 days. I mean Stong!! I pretty much have to bath her bottom half every time I potty her.... I wash her with dawn dish soap 1 time rinse still there and wash and rinse agian still there and 1 more time and smell is gone. I am washing her with soap 3 time because if I can still smell it its still on here and I don't want it to burn her because it smells like it would. This started yesterday morning.... she had always has crystal clear pee but since this started it is slightly light yellow. Yes i know light yellow is the norm as long as it's not dark yellow but her normal is clear.... so I guess I am needing to know do they go threw a super stinky pee phase or is this a uti?

I have amox-class 875mg and amoxicillin 500mg. Do either work for uti or do I hve to make a trip to vet?

I'm sorry nobody has helped you yet.
Somehow I missed this thread.
Have you started her on any new foods?
What is her diet like?
Strong smelling pee could be a sign of a UTI.
Have you tried hydrating her in between feedings.
If she'll take it, try a little warm water with a touch of honey
for taste.
Also try a little no sugar added cranberry juice.
Is she having problems peeing, meaning does
she just dribble at times or seem like she needs
to pee but nothing happens?
Try some unscented baby wipes on her instead of bathing
her. It won't help the smell any better, but we don't want to
irritate her skin from too much washing.
I could dose the Clavamox for a UTI though I'm not sure if that's what we
are dealing with.
By the way, Tootsie is such an adorable little chunky monkey, you've done a great job with her! :woot

No new foods I tried some veggies she was not interested yet. I have been putting a piece of henry blocks in today was the first she even wanted that..I can't find it in her cage anywhere so I am guessing she ate it. It was a very small piece and that was today after her stinky showed up... I am going to start giving her water in between feedings but her pee is clear now and she is going fine. I am not even sure it's her pee I am smelling or if it's just her actual body making the sent... but it's the bottom half of her body... she is really still only on formula beside that one piece of block she had today.... she is playful and seems fine her poop is slightly different.... it was a pale pale color so I am stretching her feedings out now... but her poop has no smell.

She pees a good bit when she does go on her own but she still wants me to potty her and when I do a lot of pee comes out but it's not a continuous flow it's like she pushes really hard and pees a good bit then I wipe her again she pushes really hard again and another good bit comes out and sometimes just little drips and that is after she pees on her own. So it's kinda like she is having a hard time fully emptying her bladder. And yes sometimes when I pick her up she will have some drops drip out but never fully pees
