I just got three baby flyers. No hair. the size of a quarter.

Never done flyers before

They have been with someone else for over 24 hours.

Badly dehydrated. I have no vet access.

Trying to feed with q-tips.

Okay, first, B-R-E-A-T-H-E....

Next, a baby flyer is the same as a baby squirrel...just smaller.

Warmth, hydration, then wean onto formula

Do you have the ability to post pics?

EDIT: I don't think I would use q-tips to feed. A mini miracle nipple works very very well on a 1cc syringe.

Um, not that they don't deserve to be raised like any baby, but I don't think those are flyers. I cannot see the arms and legs very well - the baby flyers have that web of skin that eventually allows them to glide even when they are teeny.

Baby mice or perhaps a vole - the stubby tails look vole-ish.

I agree. And they are adorable. :grin2

You can try an artist paint brush to feed them. They will suck the formula from the brush. It's my understanding that they grow up fast.

I thought maybe they were soooooo very dehydrated that the webbing wasn't so noticeable. There eyes are very tiny too and I thought that flyers had bigger eyes. I just found out that the woman that had them found them on Sunday night and she had given them gatorade once or twice. I think they are far too dehydrated to save.

One drop at a time of hydration fluid.

The other two died as well. :(

And even tho they were only mousies or voles and I only had them for two hours, I shed a little tear for them.

Good Lord I'm completely bonkers.

Thank you all for your quick response. Once again the squirrel board comes through.

Good luck to all of you saving little orphans out there and bless you and your tender hearts.

Thanks for looking out for them and trying to help them. Sometimes it is just too late to save them but at least they felt your love before they passed.
