Are roasted and raw walnuts okay for squirrels?

My favorite former pet Buddy, who especially loves walnuts, is going to get a treat. Can anyone recommend anything else on nuts.com she might like? I wish they had walnut butter but cannot find any.

They have a free bag promo going so I figured this would be a good time to get her something. And I'm still glad that nuts.com donated to help the squirrels impacted by the South Carolina flood some time ago which is what first attracted me as a customer.

Black walnuts are popular. If Buddy is an indoor squirrel, getting them in the shell is a great way to keep the teeth worn down because you basically need a nuke to open them. My boy P will spend days working on a black walnut. If he is an outdoor boy he will just bury them if they are in the shell, but they sell black walnuts shelled there too. I think they are AWFUL but I am told I am just a dumb hooman so...

Just adding in a place to buy nuts in bulk besides nuts.com there is also a site anuts.com I think anuts is a little cheaper.

Soaking shelled organic English Walnuts, Pecans, or Hickory nuts overnight in purified water with a Tbsp. of organic plain Kefir (Green Valley) to acidify the water; and then rinsing well with purified water, and drying them on low oven heat for 18 minutes, lowers phytates and oxalates (anti-nutrients) in the nuts, and so increases the bioavailability of the nutrients contained in the nuts.
