I found a baby squirrel abandoned in a field on Thursday. His eyes are still closed but he's starting to get fur. I'm assuming around 3 1/2 weeks of age. He's eating well and pooping. Very active. Roots when I pick him up and climbs to snuggle close. He has a few wounds that are healing well that I was afraid might be maggots, but have seen no evidence of worms.
This afternoon I noticed what appeared to be acne on his belly, arms and legs, and even a spot on his penis. There doesn't seem to be any movement to imply that they are bugs. Has anyone seen this before? And what do I do?
TIA

Can you take a pic and post it on the board so we can see? There are so many possibilities and a picture helps.
