I posted several times earlier about a possible aspiration. My baby was eating and acting fine all day until his two hour feeding at 9. Now he doesnt want to wake up to eat. He pooped fine, little to no pee and hes barely sucking. Is this a side effect if the possible aspiration or do babies fet sleepy at night?

How often are you feeding? How's the clicking?

Hes under 10 days old so i have him eating about every 2 hours and he eats .5ccs each time. Yes hes on antibiotics, and the clicking has been almost non existent now. It only seems to click when hes either exhaling or inhaling. Oh and he did wake up a little better a little while ago, but i inly got in about .3ccs begire he fought me off to go vack to sleep.

How much does he weigh? Every 2 hours is too close together. Go to every three so he has time to digest what hes eating. That should help increase the amount he will take. Some of mine even go to 3.5 hours.

He should take 5% of his weight in grams. So if he is 30g (around 1 oz) he should take 1.5cc or close to that anyway.

I weighed him between feedings today and he was 17g. Ill spread out the feedings though. I kind of thought that may have been the issue. Thank you! :serene
