First, thank you for helping this little guy. :thankyou
Is the clicking consistent, with every breath?
Pinkies are extremely challenging even for experienced folks, I could not imagine dealing with a pinky as my first challenge... much less a pinky with Aspiration Pneumonia.
If you would like us to try to find experienced help in you area (if possible), please share what part of MI you are.

Im always up for a challenge, ive raised other anumals and wildlife from newborns to adults so im not intimidated by his size. However, if someone from the group lives near me that would want to make sure im doing everything right that would be nice. Im in southeast mi. He is clicking with every breath.

Ok, let me look at the Cipro dosing. What size syringes do you have for feeding?

I updated the thread title to include the area, maybe a member nearby will respond. The best place in Michigan I am aware is in Lowell (farmwildlife.org), I have dealt with Sjana personally but she is not a member of TSB. We have referred several finders to her and all have had positive feedback..
I appreciate that you are willing to help this very tiny, frail baby. They will need to be kept warm, pottied and fed around the clock for several more weeks.
With all respect, I question allowing any 9 year old to feed such a small and fragile baby. And allowing her to feed her for the first time in your absence, if I am reading this correctly, is also a questionable decision IMO. This pinky now has the deck steeply stacked against her; this is an extremely challenging situation even for the most experienced squirrel person so I hope you are up to the challenge, her life depends on you. AP is the number one killer of pinkies in rahab, which is why it is so imperative to avoid aspiration. I will be praying for both of you and a good outcome.

She was under strict orders NOT to touch him while i was gone but she disobeyed me. You can believe she is not allowed anywhere near him anymore and I've taken several security measures to make sure she doesnt do THAT again. Thank you for your help though. I will keep you updated on his progress. As of right now he just enthusiastically sucked down his formula without incident and went potty.

O, good... that is good news that he is hungry! :bliss
Loss of appetite is one of symptoms of AP.

It is! Hes still very active and hungry and making squeaky grunty noises so I'm hoping he'll be just fine.

Please be sure you stay with the antibiotics for the full 7-10 day course. Don't stop because you don't hear clicking any more.
Pinkies are are extremely challenging. Are you able to feed and care for this baby every 3 hours around the clock? They take so much time for many months. AP is a killer. Please stay with this forum to get the very best advice.
Pinkies need one feeder... you ....only. The caregiver gets accustom to the babies nursing patterns and rhythm. One caregiver is best.
