I got a 5-6 week old from one of my students who found him under their vehicle. Got him warm, got him hydrated. He was dehydrated and rather thin. Got the vet to give SubQ fluids, then used pedlalyte over the next 6 hours to get him hydrated. Took 4 small feedings (Fox Valley 20/50) over 8 hours to introduce formula in progressive levels of water to formula. He was nursing on his own and on full formula for 12 hours, eating about 6-8 cc per feeding. Then he stopped wanting to nurse. He is still producing stool (firm yellow-brown) and urine (clear), but refusing to nurse. It has been about 10 hours without food. Getting worried about his hydration level. Have tried to offer pedialyte, also refused. Belly did stay rather round for about 6 hours but not as bad as bloat picts. Any suggestions??
