I have noticed for about a month now Gibson has been slowly losing fur on his back half of his body. (middle of his back to his tail and tops of back legs) He isn't going bald, but tufts of fur are falling out and shorter fur is left behind..almost looks buzzed. He has been inside all summer because he is a NR. He gets two Henry's Healthy Pets blocks adult formula daily with spring mix. He also gets a carrot, grape, mini sweet pepper, sugar snap pea, or apple slice depending on what I have. For treats he gets sunflower seeds, almonds, or hazelnuts. He doesn't usually eat ALL of his HH blocks but he eats about 3/4 of them. I'm not sure what is causing his fur to thin out and fall out.

I have also noticed that he has little yellow mucous pieces in his poop. I have treated him twice with Panacur and revolution because he has had these yellow mucous things for several months now. His poop is well formed and of normal color otherwise. I look closely and nothing is moving, and even if it was worms I would think that they would have been killed with the two treatments of panacur and revolution.

Any suggestions? He isn't showing any symptoms of anything going on, so these are just from my observations. We just recently moved houses so I figured it may be stress related that he is losing fur? He was a bit before we moved but it is definitely more significant now.

What you describe with the fur sounds like he's molting. Nothing to be concerned about, it will fill back in.
Some squirrels can really get some funky patterns going on when they molt. I had one that looked like they
were wearing chaps...
My thoughts on the stool since everything about it appears normal is maybe something shes eating, what
color are those "mini sweet peppers?

I can try to take a picture of his fur. I just noticed that when I pet him some tufts fall out. I also noticed that there is a small bald spot right above his tail that lost all its fur. He doesn't have peppers every day, but he has yellow, orange or red mini peppers sometimes.

Could his fur be stress related? Is this a proper time for them to be molting? It's still summer here in MN...

It's summer here and I have one in a RC that is molting, he looks kinda strange because he's brown but
where his new fur is coming in down both sides is a light grey. A picture of your guys fur would be helpful,
they don't go bald with molting they just get that buzzed cut look.

You could maybe hold off on the peppers a few days and see if he still has that yellow in his poo's, besides
something he could be eating passing through the bowels I really don't have a clue. Having a vet run a fecal
on him would probably be your best bet.
Just for a FYI, peppers is on the avoid list in the Healthy Diet for Pet Squirrels.
