Hi I posted recently about my desert squirrel whose been growing up pretty well the past couple of months. His enclosure is in the kitchen and I just walked in and noticed him sleeping where he usually sleeps at the corner of the box, but suddenly he flipped out of his sleeping position as if I startled him and he's violently shaking, he calmed down a bit when I put the gloves on and held him under one glove for a while but he's gone right back to violently shaking. What should I do!!!! I put a fresh bowl of water in but he never drinks out of it and usually dumps it within a few minutes to make the soil nice and diggable.

It sounds as if he may be having a seizure.
Get some molasses, or maple syrup and put a little on
his gums. That will help raise his blood sugar levels.
What is his diet like? Please list everything he actually eats.
How long have you had him, and how old is he?
When we see seizures in squirrels, it is usually due to
head trauma at some point in time, OR from diet.
Edit: I will be going off line for the night.
Hopefully others that stay up will chime in shortly.
